Impedance, Direct Current (DC) detection method, and Particle Distribution Analysis (PDA).
Includes WBC, RBC, hemoglobin, hematocrit, platelets, RDW, MCV, MCH, MCHC, and a manual differential (neutrophil, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, and Immature Grans)
Note: Physician’s reason for ordering this test must be included in comment section of request form.

Specimen Type: Whole blood
Container/Tube: Lavender top (EDTA)
Specimen Volume: 1 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL for EDTA tube, 0.3 mL for microtainer
Specimen Transport Temperature
Ambient 24 hours/Refrigerate 48 hours OK/Frozen NO
