Specimen Type: Whole blood
Container/Tube: Lavender top (EDTA) or EDTA microtainer
Requested Specimen Volume: 1 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL Lavender top (EDTA) tube; 0.3 mL EDTA microtainer
Specimen Transport Temperature
Ambient 24 hours/Refrigerate 48* hours OK/Frozen NO
*If manual differential is required, slides must be made within 8 hours of collection.
