Arsenazo III Calcium Dye Complex
Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Urine, random
Container/Tube: Aliquot
Specimen Volume: 2.5 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 2 mL
Collection Instructions: Add 1-2 mL of 6N HCL preservative to Specimen.
Additional Information: Order this test only if physician specifies random (24-hour specimen preferred).
Performing Laboratory
Adjust the pH to <2.0 using 6N HCL. If specimen is cloudy, spin and separate supernatant. Refrigerate specimen until analysis is performed.
