Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Urine, fresh random
Container/Tube: Aliquot tube
Specimen Volume: 2.5 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 2 mL
Collection Instructions: No preservative. Specimen with boric acid is not acceptable.
Additional Information:
1. Adulteration of specimen may cause erroneous results. If adulteration is suspected, obtain a fresh specimen.
2. If specimen displays turbidity, centrifuge before analysis.
