In an appropriate clinical context, follow-up tests for a positive ANA screen can be performed on the saved serum. LAB5010 Rheumatoid Factor, Quantitative, Plasma or Serum; LABADNAR Double-Stranded (DSDNA) Antibodies with Reflex, IgG (IFA); LAB3246 Extractable Nuclear Antigens (ENA) Screen, Serum which will reflex to LABENAAB and includes Sm, SSA, SSB, RNP, SCL70, JO 1 IgG antibodies; and LAB6632 Centromere Antibodies, IgG, Serum.
Please call the laboratory if further testing is desired. Serum will be discarded in 5 days.
