Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Whole blood
Container/Tube:
Preferred: Lavender top (EDTA), capillary draw only. Venous draws are not acceptable at this time.
Acceptable: MICROTAINER
Specimen Volume: Full tube
Specimen Minimum Volume: Half filled tube
Additional Information: Testing must be performed within 24 hours. If there is a delay in transport of >24 hours, place 50 µL of blood directly into the reagent vial included in the lead kit.
