Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive at the testing laboratory within 24 hours of draw. Specimen can only be drawn Monday through Thursday, they will not be accepted on weekends or holidays.

 

Specimen Type: Whole blood

Container/Tube: Sodium Heparin (Dark Green top)

Specimen Volume: 10 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 5 mL (dependent upon patient's absolute lymphocyte count (ALC))

Collection Instructions: Draw Monday through Thursday only
