Serum:
Draw blood in a red top tube(s). Spin down and send 1 mL (minimum volume 0.4 mL) of serum refrigerated in plastic vial.
Plasma:
Draw blood in a lavender top (EDTA) or pink top tube(s). Spin down and send 1 mL (minimum volume 0.4 mL) of plasma refrigerated in plastic vial.
Specimen Transport Temperature
Refrigerate 1 month/Ambient 14 days/Frozen 3 months
