Important Note

This test should be ordered if all the following apply:

1. Thyroid FNA results have atypical cytological findings.
2. An RNA Retain vile was obtained at the same time as the atypical Thyroid FNA at an Essentia Facility.
3. The aquisition of the specimen is less than 30 days.

Additional paperwork is required and Essentia Health Laboratory Cytology department should be contacted at your facility.
