Useful For/Utility
Evaluation of the most common tick-borne diseases found in the upper Midwest in the United States, including Ehrlichia spp. (E. chaffeensis, E. ewingii, and E. muris), Anaplasma phagocytophilum, and Babesia spp.

Multiplex RT-qPCR (for the detection of target nucleic acid sequences)
Clinical Information
- Aid in the evaluation of patients suspected for acute anaplasmosis, ehrlichiosis or babesiosis.
Test should not be used for screening asymptomatic patients

Specimen Type: Whole Blood, EDTA
Container/Tube: EDTA
Specimen Volume: 3mL
Minimum Volume 1 mL
Specimen must be received in original EDTA tube.
LABTICKB can be added on to other testing as long as specimen is still in original EDTA tube and within stability.
